The official film

The story

Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Friday evening, they arrive. Club shirt in the bag, eyes already wide. Tomorrow, they’ll step onto the same pitch as academies they usually only see on TV.

Saturday, first whistle. Eleven years old, heart pounding, a prestigious crest facing them. Whatever the score: in that moment, the child is playing a match they’ll talk about for years.

And in the stands, a parent films, throat tight. On Sunday evening, heading home, it isn’t a result they bring back. It’s a memory no one can take from them.

At eleven, that match is never forgotten.

Peer proof

They took the leap. They keep coming back.

They made the trip from eight countries — with their players, and their doubts. Here’s what they say.

A rare level for U11s and serious organisation from the first match to the last. Our players still talk about it.

Coming from abroad?

Your paperwork, anticipated

Bringing a youth team from another country takes a few formalities. Here are the essentials, step by step, so nothing holds you back.

1

Your federation’s clearance

Some federations (e.g. the English FA) require clearance to play an international match — often filed several weeks in advance. Anticipate it as soon as you register.

2

International clearance (ITC)

For players already registered abroad, an international transfer certificate may be required. Your federation will tell you how to proceed.

3

The official invitation letter we provide it

Needed for some procedures: we provide an official tournament invitation letter on request.

4

Minors’ travel authorisation

Depending on the country, a parent-signed travel authorisation may be required for each child.

General information — rules vary by country. Always check with your own federation.

Your questions

Everything a club asks before coming

Straight answers to the questions we hear most — from player age to budget, accommodation and paperwork.

Which age group can take part?

The Bandeira Cup is a U11 tournament, for players born in 2016. Each team fields at least 12 players, with 2 coaches welcomed alongside the delegation.

How much does it cost, all-in?

Two packages. Entry is 1,620 € per team (12 players and 2 coaches included, then 135 € per extra player). The Stay package is 315 € per player and covers everything: entry, 2 nights’ accommodation and 6 meals. A 30% deposit secures the spot; the balance is paid before the event.

Are accommodation and meals included?

With the Stay package, yes: 2 nights’ accommodation for the delegation and 6 meals, from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch. The Entry package covers the tournament place only, if you’d rather arrange your own stay.

Why 23 academies and 42 teams?

23 elite academies, from 8 countries, defined the 2025 edition. The full field brings together up to 42 teams, split by level after the group stage: every team plays for its real ranking (1 to 42) and faces suitable opponents all weekend.

How does the weekend unfold?

Delegations arrive on Friday. Saturday: group stage in a 7+1 format (8-a-side), 21-minute matches. Sunday: final stages by level (OR, ARGENT, BRONZE, CRYSTAL, EMERALD), then the grand final and awards ceremony.

Where is the tournament and how do we get there?

At the Espace omnisport José Bandeira in Saint-Brice-sous-Forêt (Val-d’Oise), in the Paris area — about 20 km from Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport and 12 min from Paris Gare du Nord (Line H, Sarcelles–Saint-Brice station). Also reachable via the A1/A15 motorways. Ideal for a delegation flying or taking the train.

We’re coming from abroad: what paperwork and supervision?

Clubs from 8 countries have already come. We guide you through the formalities (your federation’s clearance, international certificate, minors’ travel authorisation) and provide an official invitation letter on request. Supervision is designed for minors.

How do we book — and are we committed?

You submit a request online in two minutes; an organiser gets back to you within 24 h to confirm the spot. A 30% deposit secures it. Nothing is ever charged without your explicit approval.
